Siapro shotblasting machine in a new heat treatment line for heavy steel plates at SIJ Acroni cold rolling mill

The heavy plate heat treatment line (HTL – Heat Treatment Line) is designed for the heat treatment of special steel plates used in the most demanding applications. This modern production line integrates three previously separate processes for heavy plate processing into a single, efficient system: shotblasting, quenching, tempering. At the beginning of the line, two gantry cranes, a plate package transfer car, a Siapro RC 2600×100 E-ECO shotblasting machine, and part of the roller conveyor system are installed. The integrated solution ensures high productivity, consistent surface preparation, and reliable operation within a state-of-the-art steel processing environment.
